🏭 Verticals — an industry, in a box

Sneat has three tiers: Core primitives every Space shares, reusable Extensions that add business capabilities, and Verticals — curated, versioned collections of extensions configured for an industry. Pick a Vertical when you create a Space and it arrives pre-assembled: the right extensions enabled, default navigation, roles and onboarding already in place. A Vertical curates and configures independent extensions — it never owns or forks them, so the same extension is reused across many industries.

Three tiers, one platform

Every capability sits in exactly one tier. Higher tiers compose lower ones — never the reverse.

🏭

Verticals

Curated, versioned industry collections — Family, Hospitality, Education, Sports Club and more. A lens over extensions, not an app that owns logic.

🧩

Extensions

Reusable business capabilities — Guest Registration, Kids Club, Dining, Activities, School Portal, Taxus, ReQuoter, Eventius. Each an independently-published three-lib extension.

🧱

Core

Platform primitives available in every Space — identity, contacts, documents, calendar, assets, lists, spaces, permissions, payments, notifications.

📦 What a Vertical Pack declares

A Pack is a versioned manifest — data and declarations, not an application. It resolves at Space creation and is pinned to a version on the Space.

🧩

Extensions

Required and recommended extensions, referenced by id through their published contracts.

⚙️

Default config

Per-extension defaults, landing under the normal per-space trees — no parallel storage.

👤

Roles

A default permissions/role catalogue mapped onto existing spaceus roles.

🧭

Navigation

A default menu, home surface and dashboards — the Space's starting point, still editable.

🚀

Onboarding

One or more skippable onboarding flows that run once the Pack is applied.

Curates, never owns. A Pack references every extension only through its independently-published contract and configuration — it never forks, absorbs or re-owns one. The same Kids Club extension is reused by Hospitality, Education and Family, with no Vertical owning it. Adding a Vertical is an authoring task, not a platform change.

🎯 Choose your Vertical

When you create a Space you pick one — a fast-start, never a lock-in. Every default the Pack applies stays editable, and None / Custom is a first-class choice.

🏨

Hospitality First live

The full digital guest journey for hotels, resorts, holiday parks and serviced apartments — guest registration, kids club, dining, activities, payments.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Family

Everyday life for a household — shared calendar, documents, lists, kids' activities and split expenses.

🏫

Education

Language, music & tutoring centres (schools & academies next) — students, classes, timetables, attendance and fees, via School-Portal.app.

Sports Club

Club → team → player → coach — scheduling, activities and events bridged with the family graph.

🏢

Property Management

Assets, tenants and documents for landlords and managers — built on the assetus graph.

💼

Business

General-purpose team workspace — contacts, documents, taxes and quotes for small businesses.

🔧

Automotive

Car garages, tyre & body shops, MOT/inspection centres and valeting — bookings, work orders, parts, service history and invoicing over the vehicle graph.

🩺

Healthcare Future

Named on the roadmap — shown but not yet selectable.

🧩

None / Custom

Start empty and assemble by hand. A valid, fully-supported Space — not an error path.

📜 One extension, many verticals

The registry is the single auditable answer to “which extensions exist, and which industries use them”. Each is published once and recommended by many Verticals — never forked.

💬 Building a Vertical?

Verticals are how a tiny team ships a whole portfolio — authoring manifests over a stable extension graph, never forking engines.
